Class Description

Starting Solids - Stage 1

This class is designed for new parents/caregivers with an infant from 4-7 months old. It covers all topics that new solids eaters should know. This class not only includes informative topics as well as actual cooking demonstration. It is the first step of aiding your child to start a life long healthy eating habits.

In this class we will show you how to prepare a balance meal. We will demonstrate how to prepare easy recipes such as:

Applesauce
Butternut Squash
Sweet potato

We will discuss the nutritional value of different foods and what foods to avoid. Learn the difference between home-made vs store bought food. Receive a free recipe booklet.

Meats & Veggies

This clss is designed for new parents/caregivers with an infant from 7-10months old. This class is an intermediate class for infants who have “mastered” the basic puree and ready to move on to more complex blends such as meats, fish and diary.

We will go over all the tips and tricks to solve any fussy eaters before it becomes a problem.

We will help parents guide their children to thicker texture and prepare them for table and finger food for the next phase of solid food.

All of the recipes are quick and easy; moreover, parents can incorporate them as part of their daily meal. This is the first step to phase out baby vs. grown-up meals

We will demonstrate how to prepare such creative yummy recipes such as:

Baked Fish and Veggies
Pasta with Alfredo Sauce
Chicken Risotto

We will discuss the nutritional value of different foods and what foods to avoid.

Finger Foods

This class is designed to help your child make an easy transition from coarse texture to finger/self feeding food. This is mostly a cooking demonstrations class which covers all major food groups. By the end of the course, parents will have a collection of recipes which will provide a healthy balanced meal.

Prenatal Classes

The class covers key nutrients required, the 10 Powerfoods for pregnancy, the importance of organic foods, what foods to avoid, tips to alleviate various symptoms including morning sickness, snacking healthfully on the go, sample recipes and more.
